1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the GrowTogether application, website (growtogether.finance), or mobile applications (the "Service"), you enter into a legally binding contract with G&T Studio Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").
If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms of Service, you must immediately discontinue using the Service.
2. Eligibility & 18+ Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for and use GrowTogether.
GrowTogether is a household finance platform designed for couples, helping partners track cash flows, manage debt, and build wealth together. Financial decisions require the capacity to enter into legally binding obligations. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into these Terms.
3. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing Terms
GrowTogether offers premium household wealth management tools with transparent, fair subscription terms:
Every new user is entitled to a 3-month free trial with full access to all platform features, including household collaboration, unlimited transactions, debt payoff calculators, and the Monet AI Advisor.
Following the conclusion of your 3-month trial, continued access to GrowTogether requires an active subscription under our Basic Plan (pricing will be formally communicated in the app prior to the end of your trial).
Subscribers can select between monthly billing or discounted annual billing. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal.
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account settings or by contacting hello@growtogether.finance, with zero penalties or hidden cancellation fees. If you cancel an annual plan early, you are eligible for a prorated refund covering the remaining unused months of your subscription term.
GrowTogether subscriptions are issued at the household level. One partner — the Account Owner — holds the active subscription and is responsible for billing. Only the Account Owner has access to subscription details, payment methods, and billing history. The partner linked to the household benefits from shared access under the same subscription but does not manage billing directly.
If the Account Owner deletes their account while a partner remains in the household, ownership is automatically transferred to the remaining partner. The new Account Owner will be granted access to subscription management within the app. However, the previous owner's payment information is permanently removed upon account deletion — the new owner will be required to add their own payment details to maintain uninterrupted access to GrowTogether.
4. Financial & Investment Advice Disclaimer
GrowTogether is an educational budgeting and cash flow organizational tool. We do not provide certified financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
Nothing contained in the Service constitutes a personalized recommendation, endorsement, or solicitation to purchase or sell securities, open specific tax accounts, or adopt a particular debt payoff plan. All budget ratios, calculations, and simulations are based entirely on user-entered data and general financial rules of thumb (e.g., the 50/30/20 framework). You are solely responsible for evaluating your financial circumstances and should consult a certified financial planner (CFP) or tax advisor before making major financial commitments.
5. AI Advisor ("Monet") Limitations & Disclaimers
GrowTogether includes an automated financial assistant named Monet, powered by large language model technology from Anthropic.
- Automated Responses: Monet generates responses based on statistical models and the financial context you provide. Like all AI systems, responses may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Not a Fiduciary: Interactions with Monet do not establish a fiduciary, advisory, or broker-client relationship.
- User Verification Required: You must verify any figures, tax limits, or calculations provided by Monet before relying on them.
6. Market & Ticker Information
Stock quotes, currency conversions, and chart widgets displayed in the investments module are retrieved from third-party data feeds (including Yahoo Finance and TradingView). Market data may be delayed by 15 minutes or more and is provided strictly for personal reference and portfolio estimation. Do not execute real-time trading decisions based on quotes displayed in GrowTogether.
7. Household Spaces & Shared Responsibility
GrowTogether allows partners to link accounts within a shared Household Space. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you only invite your trusted partner to your household. Confirmed members will have the ability to read, add, and modify transactions, budget categories, and shared goals. We are not liable for any disputes, unauthorized entries, or misunderstandings that arise between household members.
8. Acceptable Use & Platform Rules
You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to probe, scan, or breach our security controls or Row-Level Security policies
- Scrape, spider, or harvest data through automated mechanisms without written permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the GrowTogether software
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of our servers, database, or network
9. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain full ownership and copyright of all financial figures, budget notes, and records you submit to GrowTogether.
Our Property: The GrowTogether name, logo, visual designs, algorithms, user interface, software code, and documentation are the exclusive property of G&T Studio Ltd. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the platform in accordance with these Terms.
10. Account Cancellation & Termination
You can terminate your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account that violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent behavior, with or without prior notice.
11. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
GrowTogether is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. G&T Studio Ltd, its officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including loss of funds, investment losses, or data disruption) resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before proceeding to formal arbitration or the competent courts of Toronto, Ontario.
